Hello, here is the 2nd edition of the international contest "Other songs"on the theme of the "intercultural dialogue"

1. Other songs is a song contest inspired by peace and intercultural dialogue.
This a creation of the "Fondazione laboratorio maditerraneo" (FLM), with the financial support of the European Commission (general direction of the external  relations)

2. The songs have to be inspired by peace and intercultural dialog.
The FLM will select maximum 7 songs. The contest foresees

- A first Prize of 1.500 euros
- A Second Prize of 1.000 euros
- Five prizes of 600 euros

3 Are admitted to participate autors and composers from the european union,
and from the south-mediterranean countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordania, Liban, Marocco, Palestinia, Syria, Tunisia, and Turkey)

The dead line to present the songs is the 15th october.

Selected songs will be diffused on the internet on www.euromedcafe.org-  
as from november 2006
The nominated songs from the first and the second contest can be diffused on a cd through the euro-mediterranean cultural fondations.
