Databank on Gender in Cyprus

Dear Colleague

I am writing to ask for your professional contributions, advice, and recommendations for a databank currently being prepared by the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies {MIGS}, a non-profit organisation which promotes and contributes to projects of social, political, and economic themes relating to gender.

MIGS is currently in the process of creating a much-needed databank with material on issues of gender in Cyprus. We are interested in collecting all possible data [scholarly publications -books and journal articles, reports by local and international organisations, essays, articles in the press, projects-part and present, MA and PhD Theses, college and university courses, trainings and so on]  in order to prepare references in an user-friendly manner  for everyone to access on our website [http://www.medinstgenderstudies.org].  We would appreciate both bibliographical references and abstracts [where copyright is not a problem, we can upload full-text articles].

We, at the institute, look forward to your help in what we consider as an important effort which could potentially help researchers, students and policy makers in the future.

Please send your contributions to Josie Christodoulou at josie@medinstgenderstudies.org

Sincerely

Myria Vassiliadou
