Open discussion on the Reformation in Education based on Human Rights

The Human Rights and Education Network (H.R.Edu Services) in its effort to contribute to the reformation of education in Cyprus based on Human Rights, has started an open dialogue with the following title:

“Educational Reformation based on Human Rights and Intercultural and Peace Education”.

The topic is crucial. The transformation of the Curriculum is strongly connected to the progress and cooperation of all the residents of Cyprus as well as with their participation in and contribution to the proceedings within Europe and worldwide.

The purpose of this discussion is the exchange of ideas between people and organisations that we hope will contribute to the creation of a wide framework of ideas and practices promoting democracy, equality, justice and intercultural understanding in addition to helping to shape the educational policy and the Curriculum based on Human Rights.

We invite all sensitised persons and organisations in Cyprus, Europe and beyond to help and forward material (projects, articles, research, case studies, information, etc), including the name of the author to this website www.humanrights-edu-cy.org or by e-mail to humanrights.edu@cytanet.com.cy

The articles that are sent will be freely accessible to everyone.

The discussion will be conducted in English, Greek and Turkish.
